National Museums Collection Centre

A busy day which started with allotment volunteering. We are clearing plots which have been returned, they hopefully will have new owners soon.
Then I was off to Granton to visit The National Museums Collection Centre. This is a tour which you can book on. It was very well done and we were taken into the archeology, stuffed animals, whale bones and industrial heritage sections. I would like to go again to see different collections.
I then walked through the Botanics, and made my way up to the Royal Mile to see a show that our neice has been working on, called 'Confessions of a Lunatic', it was really an excellent show.
Buses today 38, 8, 29, 35 took me round the town with lots of steps too. Oh yes, and my bike too.
