COVEY

A chilly overcast day today so I'm glad I could get a blip from the car without having to get out. After an appointment with the hygienist I made a quick detour down Smelly Factory Road and spotted this family of young grey partridges (there were actually five but one seemed more of an explorer than a forager and had gone on ahead), so I pulled up on the verge and took some photos through my window. How lazy am I!

EDIT: I'd originally identified them as young pheasants but I've been corrected on another site so I've corrected them here as well.

The hygienist was very pleased with me and checked the crowns that were being a nuisance last week. The penicillin seems to have done the trick and everything has settled down so that's a relief.
