Wet Bottom
Today we were at Manorbier which boasts a castle which unfortunately was closed, possibly due to a wedding. However the beach provided damming opportunities on a shallow stream; huge jellyfish watching; more wave jumping and frantic channel digging as the tide came in.
After lunch at the cafe in the village we set off on a circular coast walk (lots of those around here) and discovered en route 160 steps (Euan counted them all) down to a secret beach sided by huge slabs of rock with fossils and luscious sand and a climb through to a smaller secret beach, great fun!
Much time was spent here cheering on another huge jellyfish which needed to be taken out to sea, wave jumping and beetle rescuing before Euan decided to dare the incoming tide to wet his bottom, which it did of course, and we climbed back out of the secret beach and finished our walk.
