first time

A hummingbird hawk-moth - first time I’ve seen one! So pleased. I only noticed it when one of the robins was trying to catch it. It stayed a while and I took loads of photos and a little video. Quite big, such a beautiful creature. I hope it comes again. Although it’s on a geranium here I think it was attracted by the nearby honeysuckle.
Visited Mr I today and he was well. On the way home a cyclist ran into the side of a big Audi car that was turning right. He was ok but I can’t understand how he didn’t see the car.
