Mosaics

Last week I spotted a chance to be involved in making some mosaics, and signed us up.  There were to be four sessions, I signed us up for the first.

This afternoon we spent an hour at Wexford Arts Centre, doing our bit towards creating butterflies for the garden.

Main pic in the collage is my butterfly wing.  Little pic is W's.

It was a bit brief, and felt a trifle unsatisfactory to leave the half completed wing for someone else to carry on.  But it cost nothing, and gave us an insight into the creation of various mosaics around Wexford town, including one I photographed during the Fleadh, which I have added in as an extra.

Afterwards we had a late lunch/early dinner at a cafe in Wexford, before doing a small supermarket shop.
