Waddesdon Manor (NT)

The elder of my two, younger, sisters has a big birthday at the end of November. We met with their husbands here for a special picnic, a lovely catch up and a fascinating tour of The Rothschild family’s amazing stately home today. The new carpark is a 30 minute walk from the house but we found a grassy area close to the cars to lay out our celebratory spread. Luckily it was also sheltered from the chilly northerly breeze!
