Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

One of those days

The girls slept well overnight much to Ali's delight as that meant she did too! When we got up they prepared to go off to Josie swimming then gymnastics while I headed off to church.
We had 10 there today which is about our normal Wednesday congregation, Andrew's penultimate service as our interim pastor. We're going to miss him. I took along what was left of my banana bread for coffee afterwards, we always enjoy cake with our coffee after the service. The light I bought last week for the lectern has been well received so that's good, we needed a new one.
We headed to Craigie for a bowl of soup and to see if perhaps they had any strawberries on sale still, but no luck, I guess the season is over. I came home with a headache and slept out of order the afternoon. I wake up at night at the moment counting the number of seats in church (in my head) and keep coming up with different numbers! I think we should have enough when we've brought some over from the hall. It's a small church though so it's a case of fitting extras in - what a lovely problem to have.
Today's blip was taken at Craigie. I had intended blipping the Highland cows - always a good subject for a blip. When I saw the notice on the ponies field though, that just had to be the one. What a wonderful sign, I know several people who should have that on their front doors - not me of course, I would never confess to kicking and biting, never mind the rest .
