Unexpected kindness

This morning, my car started making a loud rattling noise while driving into Stirling.
What to do?
A former colleague once drowned out the mysterious clatter coming from his vehicle, much to the alarm of his passenger, by simply turning up the radio.
 
This was not my solution, nor going to go to one of the big glossy garages where there would be a minimum charge of £50 .
 
Instead, I went to a small garage at Back O ‘the Hill.
A friendly mechanic quickly found and fixed the problem – a loose plastic fender – at no charge. Now that's service with a smile!
