contrasts

probably one of my favourite captures ever, moreso because of the emotional component but oh well. 

this was taken somewhat shortly after me and my significant other had moved into our new flat together and decided to explore the city and its surroundings for a bit - it was a city we barely knew and didn't have a lot of interest in knowing either since it was meant to be nothing more than a stepping stone for another one. 
still, the air was buzzing with excitement and the mystery of unknown.
