POSTCARD FROM ÅSGÅRDSTRAND

We came late in the evening to the Marina in Åsgårdstrand and had a relaxing time there before leaving next day to Østre Bolerne,

Åsgårdstrand is a small and charming city, and is famous because the Norwegian painter Edvard Munch lived here from 1889, and kept his house until his dead in 1944.

We celebrate his 150 anniversary this year, and I think it's therefore the Munch Street in Åsgårdstrand has postboxes painted with Munch's paintings.

I think they are lovely, and here is one of them that I find.
