Bat watching

Productive day at work as I got a few outstanding tasks sorted.  
Put together a plant stand in my lunch hour to try and make my office plants a bit neater.  Not sure if it worked.  The stand should have consisted of 3 interlocked hexagons but it was hard to put together by hand. 
Went to help with a local bat walk at a country park. The talk was first and then we walked down to the edge of the lake to await the bats.  The pipistrelles turned up first,  so many under the trees and along the waters edge. The bat detectors were going off like gun fire.  We picked up noctules too and saw a few Daubentons bats over the water.  It did get quite cold later on and we then had to scramble back to the cars to avoid being locked into the car park.  Great evening and it was nice to be able to help out with the easy questions.
