Framing Parking Parameters
Today we took the short walk back down to our local, The Chequers, for a pint. As usual we had a lovely warm greeting from the girl behind the bar who always seems happy to see us.
Thankfully the road closure in the village has now gone and she confirmed there has been an uptick in passing trade again but having said that today appeared to be pretty quiet as we were some of the only customers. We never get tired of quaffing our drinks at one of the outside tables with a view across the River Medway towards the village's medieval bridge and just chewing the fat.
Refreshments finished we then took a stroll around the village and through the churchyard just trying out different shots. Today's image (better viewed large) of this car park vista caught my attention because the fencing and a colourful banner advertising banner for one of our local restaurants in the foreground and the warning tape with its accompanying cone and the hedge in the background were creating a frame within a frame - with the positioning of the car making it looking like it was being out competed for space as its outside parameters were being squeezed. At least that's the way I saw it!
