More sunflowers

A terribly grey day, even some spots of rain, but they didn’t wet the ground. So I was down at my allotment in the evening to water, and there was a bit of sunshine. 
These are on the edge of my neighbours plot, though she didn’t plant them.  They’ve been going for months now, though some have come towards the end, as you see.  You can also see how brown the grass is behind them. 
Another day spent largely on the fallouts of the scam, down at my branch for nearly 3 hours.  The Nat West don’t have a special hurry-up system for replacing the debit cards which have been cancelled because of fraud.  It’s still 10 working days ie. three weeks. It’s very difficult, I can’t buy anything online or in shops, I can’t even park my car as the app is linked to my card, can’t collect previously ordered railway tickets.  It’s a real mess.  Meanwhile my new friends in the Philippines sent me another scam message yesterday purporting to be from the Royal Mail sorting office. They are SO clever, they know I’m anxiously awaiting my new card, and the message implied it was about that… Again, I was completely sucked in, but this time only for a few seconds.  I think I’m going to get an awful lot more. I think they have me tagged on their systems as “Gullible Idiot” .
