No sunny disposition

Not the happiest sunflower I have ever strolled by!

Leo wasn’t a happy chappy either as he didn’t get the Uni accommodation he wanted. He has been offered a place in some private accommodation down by the train station so not the full on campus experience he was hoping for. It isn’t too far a walk up to campus but I can see why he is a bit disappointed. There is no social space in the setup - other than a shared kitchen for the 7 rooms in his cluster group and he will have to get used to trains rattling and hooting past his window.

I decided to take him to look at it properly as his first instinct was to rule it out and stay home and commute. However, having seen it, he decided it wasn’t too bad so he is back to weighing up the pros and cons.

I think with such a long delay between them applying for their preferred halls and then finally getting an answer they have kind of imagined themselves there so the reality means a bit of adjustment.

We will see what he settles on but I think he will finally settle on moving out and into the accommodation so he gets the full student experience. We will soon see as I don’t think he has too long to decide.
