Only A Brush

Another afternoon of volunteer guiding at Hill of Tarvit Mansionhouse.

And again I find myself in the kitchen after an hour or so in the Billiard room.

Today’s entry photo features the details of a brush found in the kitchen and the extra features a close up of Frederick Sharp who created Hill of Tarvit Mansionhouse, very much as it is today.

The ‘Maid of Honor’ brush was made in the USA. ‘Sterilised’? I wonder why. I can find no explanation for the 69 on the handle.

Frederick Sharp died a week before his 70th birthday whilst on holiday in Aviemore, of a heart attack.
