Blackberries and Thorns
We had an enjoyable hour or so wandering along a hedge looking for blackberries; Mrs B is quite wary of them now after a very thick stem jumped at her face while clearing brambles outside the village hall a year or so ago. As always the best ones are just out of reach, but we got about a kilo.
I put this photo on my mother's Photos library to remind her of England – I'm pretty sure that there are no brambles in the Algarve.
