Not a Heron

I don’t want you to
think I had no heron pics..
But today it’s Ben!

Early walk for heron spotting, he was stock still, waiting to plunge when we found him.. sadly his photo got ‘one-upped’ by Ben later on!
I did a bit of shopping, some emailing and texting, had a virtual chat with the new work people about my availability, cleaned the bathroom and kitchen, tried to call my mum (before remembering I totally knew she was away with friends!) and then went up to see Ben. Another positive visit, nice interactions with staff, Ben was pleased to see me, we played Game of Life and he played on the swing. He’s having a little holiday in the Lake District with them next week so he was happy to chat about that and the ending was nice and easy because he was able to say he’d tell me all about the break the next time he saw me. His face on the swing shows he’s still a happy bunny I think :-)
Home after that, packed up and we’re in the north Pennines for a long bank holiday weekend.. Mr KCNQ2Haiku is working tomorrow but off on Tuesday/Wednesday so we’re in ‘Holiday mode’!
