Seventy Acres Lake Swallow
Since the pair of swallows flew into my room in May, probably thinking it was a barn and looking for a nest site, I've been wanting to capture swallows in flight. Strangely I rarely see swallows at home. I saw some a few weeks ago at Fishers Green and resolved to return to try to get some shots.
I've been down to Fishers Green early in the morning a few times recently. It has been beautifully sunny and there has been no sign of swallows. This morning it was overcast and a few adults and some juveniles were swooping low over Seventy Acres Lake. I got a handful of reasonable images, including the above. I would have got better results if it had been sunny but for some reason the birds don't feed here in the sunshine.
