Thursday again today, where are the weeks going? There was a definite nip in the air today although it did pick up this afternoon. I put on a jersey while having coffee in bed this morning!
I visited two of my old ladies today to take them communion, such a difference between the two. One very deaf and with deteriorating vision parked in her recliner chair in the room in her nursing home with the TV on right in front of her. I tried to switch it off but couldn't as the batteries were flat. How frustrating. I turned it off at the wall in the end, but I did report it to both a carer and a maintenance man who I met on my way out. Such an easy fix to improve things for her.
The other, in her own home and full of news and happiness and also with her vision and hearing intact.. I hope I'm like her when I get to that stage.
I also went to the Rectory today to collect the mail and drop off a key, they move in on Monday - hooray.
