Oats

Emptied the first batch of oats in the morning after cleaning some bins that I had skipped yesterday. After lunch it looked like there is enough time to harvest a load big enough to fill the dryer together with what was left over from the first batch, so Jussi started harvesting while I started filling the dryer. The clouds looked quite threatening, and there was a little shower soon after we had enough oats in the trailer. Higher moisture than before, but not too much.

As the shower was not too bad, we considered harvesting more before the next one, but didn't. The batch was dry before 5 pm, which is when that shower came. At that time I drove off to take Lauri to the railway station and buy a couple of things for my parents. On the way back I dropped by in Ylinen, but the weather had cut the number cars in the cruising to just a few, so not much to see there.

It rained four millimetres. The temperature was +14°C at highest, but I saw +9 in the car thermometer during the hardest rain.
