Beautiful evening for a run

After a busy, busy day (shopping for Cafe, Health Walk, cooking for Cafe and clearing up, Community Centre Management meeting) it was good to get out for a run.
The club has a race up this hill every year and it's hard work. You go up to the ridge to the dip above the pale bit, along to the top and down the left-hand ridge and down - but then you got up again to where the pylon top is and down round the back. Going up is hard, the first down is tricky, the final down is great! I was last, and the oldest, (3rd time I've done it and the best position was 2nd last) and more than 10 mins slower than 8 years ago - but a lot faster than the approx 200 club members who didn't do it! The weather was just right apart from the last section when the sun was in my eyes.
