Seven Nation Army

We went out to Wray this afternoon for the classic car meet at Bridge House Tea Rooms. This month’s theme was Lotus and though these are technically Caterhams, they are descendants of the original Lotus 7 so I guess they qualify. I initially thought I’d captured seven of them in this shot, but a recount showed there were only six! There were another three lined up on the opposite side, so actually nine in total. Quite an impressive turnout.
Many other interesting classic and performance cars to look at, though only one was for sale. It was the Jaguar D Type recreation I blipped last July and I would love to own it. Unfortunately, at £70,000, I would probably have to sell a kidney to be able to do so!
Quite a cool day, so we didn’t linger. Only one more car event left this year - hoping for warmer weather next month.
