Lossie Mural

A fine day, mostly cloudy but the skies cleared in the afternoon, a beautiful warm and sunny evening.

Up early, headed out after breakfast.  A secret surprise visit to see friends, Tommy and Lorraine in Elgin.  A good catchup over a cuppa.  Headed into the town for a look around after.  Popped out to Lossiemouth for a walk too.  Back to the house this evening, quiet night in.

I don't know Elgin very well, and a first time ever in Lossiemouth.  Lossie seems like a lovely little town, with a stunning beach.  Judging by the harbour, it looks like it had a rich fishing history, but sadly very little evidence of the industry now.  This mural dedicated to the fishing heritage is a wonderful tribute to a time that seems to have vanished.  Taken on Clifton Road, Lossiemouth.
