Sunflowers.

Finally came across a field of sunflowers - no more than a 5 min drive from home!

They are right next door to our local garden centre (which is set a good way back from the road)

I just noticed something yellow & couldn’t think what else it could be at this time of year so decided to check it out.

They’d obviously been grown as a PYO venture but the kiosk was abandoned and many of them were passed their best - probably due to lack of rain.

Enough left for a few photos though and some of them were huge!
