An ordinary life....

A good year for the roses...

Not a lot to say about today, it's just gone by in a flash!

Tesco delivery all present and correct.  Lola returned from her walk with R clean and dry.  No puddles left for her to enjoy anywhere!  I'm sure the weather will replenish them soon.

The afternoon was spent in the studio on more slate painting.  Faith's slate is well underway.  Her's features sunflowers.  I changed the background of S & L's slate and have drawn on the thistle design in pastel pencil.  Hope to finish Faith's tomorrow.  Seeing Agnes and Adrian at the weekend so it will be Sunday afternoon at the earliest before I can get back to them.  I can't believe I left it to the last minute!

I also started gathering the painting materials I want to take to Harris and Lewis.  I have a vision of sitting on the decking of the little holiday cottage overlooking Uig bay and painting Mealaisbhal and the surrounding hills. Utter bliss :-)

Natalie brought me these roses over a week ago.  They are still going strong.  The peace lily that Dave and Kirsty brought a few weeks ago is still in bloom and my the four little lemons on my lemon tree are hanging in there and showing signs of changing colour.

I don't like to speak too soon but I think I might be developing at least one green finger!  :-)
