And We’re Off

First day of the new rugby season, a combination of a windy day, players still away on holiday and the tail end of Falmouth Week didn’t do much to draw in the crowd despite having free entry, lets hope it’s not a sign of what’s to come.
First thing was the monthly Military Veterans Breakfast, the Halfway House was today’s venue for a tip-top breakfast, the perfect start to the day.
Then a leisurely build up to the afternoon. Mrs S went to bed for her pre night shift nap, I headed to the rugby club.
I wore my ‘Headway’ T shirt, shown in today’s extra. Robin, son-in-law of Martin and Ali, in the picture with me, was attacked in the Florida Keys whilst delivering a yacht and suffered serious head injuries, Headway supported him.
