Another Sign
I have wanted to find a deep toned wind chime to hang on Peanut’s Corner of the hop arbor. I found one at a local garden store, and bought it today. I didn’t even look at the tag to see what company made it, I just knew I really liked the tone. I wish you could hear them. When I got home and hung it above Peanut’s Corner, I pulled the tag off. The maker? Woodstock Chimes. Those of you who have followed me for a while know that Peanut’s given name was (is) Woodstock. It was one of the draws to her, a perfectly named kitty for two old hippies on a farm. Only later when she proved herself to be such a little peanut did that become her name to us. Woodstock “Peanut” Witten.
I was kind of knocked sideways when I saw the company name. I told Tom about it, and she said, “Oh, I have goosebumps.”
I know without a doubt that I was somehow guided to these chimes. I do not know how, but I know why. There are forces from realms we cannot see that are at work here. So many signs these last couple of months, the eagle, the robin, the garden character from this year’s Oregon Country Fair, the white feather from two days ago. All signs from beyond The Veil.
The other connection is that these are Gregorian chimes, and at times when I wrote, I put on Gregorian chants or chimes “music.” Peanut was often beside me, and sometimes she fell asleep to them, but other times she simply chilled or watched me. Peanut, I know that your spirit is right there at the corner of your arbor. May these chimes bring you, and I, peaceful rest.
