Saying Goodbye...to Junior High

That's right, our little man is now a freshman in high school. He was a little apprehensive about being in a new setting, but we think he will be fine after a couple of days.

I don't like the fact that the school systems want the kids back before Labor Day. LET THEM HAVE THEIR SUMMER!

We took our few pictures, gave our boy a hug, and then ran off to be on time for my first eye cataract surgery.

It was a little freaky with the optic machines being so close to the eye, but it wasn't too bad. Lisa drove me home, and now...with my glasses off...the HGTV show on the Tv is really sharp. My next appointment is tomorrow with the doctor taking a look at his handiwork.
