We’ve had a real ‘holiday’ day today.
This or I g we went to West Bay and had our usual walk around the harbour, along the prom and down the pier. The weather has been perfect. 
This afternoon we drove to Forde Abbey - haven’t even there for ages. Had a short walk in the lovely old house then spent some time in the gardens. The house is a 12th century Cistercian monastery  with an amazing history.We timed it quite well (accidentally!) as the fountain is only turned on occasionally. It reaches 160 feet and is one of the tallest, gravity fed fountains in the country.
It really felt as if we were on holiday today!
