Pigeons

An Addenbrookes clinic appointment for my husband this afternoon. All went well until I was nearly at Addenbrookes when I discovered the road was closed just before Addenbrookes. They are doing some work on and around the roundabout, but this was a complete closure. So I had to turn round and go back so that I could enter the Addenbrookes site from the other end. The buses were also having to do extra long journeys. As always, I had left home in plenty of time so we still had time for coffee when we arrived. The appointment went well, but could easily have been done by telephone or a video call.
