Huddersfield Narrow Canal

We went for a walk this afternoon from Uppermill, along the Huddersfield Narrow Canal to the western portal of the Standedge Tunnel and back...almost 4 miles. Apart from carrying her up the occasional lock rise when she got tired, Shadow did well :-)

Back at the car park I was drawn to a K6 telephone box that as luck would have it was a Lion Foundry item that wasn't marked on the Kirkintilloch Foundry Challenge map so yay for that.

After tea I pedalled to the supermarket & back for a few items before returning home for a lovely video natter with Bestie Ms.Arell, who was celebrating her birthday.

Main blip is the Standedge Tunnel Portal with a passing Choo Choo bound for Leeds.
