We’ve discovered that the house move is being held up at the bottom of the chain because the bank of Santander can’t keep up with the volume of business and haven’t released funds. The Catch 22 is that they are prioritising based on how close transfers are to completion but our bottom of chain’s solicitor won’t let her exchange contracts contracts and set a completion date until the funds are released.
