Loch Ardinning

What a beautiful day. We've been promising ourselves a walk here for sometime, and today we met up with Goretex , Eubers and MP. The views along the Campsie Fells, up to Ben Lomond and the Arrochar Alps were stunning.

This view across the water won my Blip. I really like the reflections, and the hint of smoke rising from a fire lit by some fishermen.

The Loch is very near the turning to Mugdock Park, on the road north from Milngavie. Parking at the side of the road. It takes about 40 mins to walk round, unless like me you want to keep stopping to take photographs.

It was good to come here and enjoy the peace and grandeur of the mountains. It's been a bit of a day. We had just said goodbye to both sons, #1 heading back north after yet another wedding, and #2 flying off, heading east, after months of uncertainty.
