Together now

Two years ago tomorrow we attended the funeral of a dear aunt. Today we went to the funeral of her husband. They were a devoted couple.
Frank was a gentle man with a dry sense of humour. He was once seen dragging a piece of string across the floor of the fire station where he worked. When he was asked why he was pulling a piece of string he replied ‘have you tried pushing it!’.
