Dwarf Cyclamen

I couldn't resist blipping these for Flower Friday as they're where Hazel used to lie, in the shade of the beech tree. He now lies beneath it, of course, with his predecessors.

The beech itself, like so many others around the country, suffers from the long period of having little, or no, rain and has leaves shrivelling and turning brown well before any glorious autumn colour can develop but the cyclamen bloom on regardless.

Thanks to BikerBear for hosting Flower Friday.
