21st Century Coal

We got a delivery of some Heritage Smokeless Steam Coal, which is a manufacturerd briquette, to try out so we lit up a warming fire in No.10 today so we can go up to full pressure tomorrow to test it out.

It takes more heat to get it ignited, but once alight it seems to burn well so will see how we get on tomorrow and at the running day on Sunday.

It comes in 25kg bags so no need to fill coal bags or shovel coal onto the pickup from the coal pile and then onto the footplate.
