Stone Barrow

We are now on a site a bit further SW - Carnac- and, as it turns out, John knows the geology of the area. We have been round the site - standing stones - and initially were rather underwhelmed. But, as we moved on to the bigger stones,  we came to appreciate them 

These stones are a bit like Avebury Ring but there are more stones although their original purpose is far from clear!
Now on the parking site tonight where there are 3 other couples we have seen elsewhere on previous sites this trip. 
It was like a reunion; where next, we said? Nothing is planned but I suppose it's 'like minds..'.
