Critters on the roses
Mrs GM noticed that one of our rose bushes was being attacked by an infestation of a caterpillar like bug, which had stripped some of the leaves. On closer inspection we found that they were larvae of a species of Sawfly and relatively uncommon (at least on roses). We diligently pruned the mercifully few branches affected and disposed of them appropriately. We have a lot of rose bushes and on closer inspection did find another bush affected.
Lets hope we see no more.
