Bowflex
Today was a much better day. I set up accounts for multiple people I’m adding to the business. The man who said the client didn’t want what they said they wanted backtracked it, so maybe we stand a chance after all. Meanwhile, we are also subbing to him so I got to propose two people for the job and the one chosen is happy. He only just got added to the company so I assume he is feeling quite good about the association.
I mentioned that I’m lifting weights to deal with the stress. I have a Bowflex knock-off that I bought >25 years ago but only used intermittently. Now I’m so strong that I needed to add two power rods. I’m feeling very butch. I successfully added them myself. There was one point where I realized that I could easily drop a bunch of power rods on my face, without health insurance, but I figured out how to do it and didn’t get hurt. (See, this is how most people get hurt in the home, doing stupid stuff. ) But my point is that I’m feeling quite proud of myself.
Russia had a rare and technologically advanced radar deep in Crimea. It doesn’t anymore. Ukraine destroyed it with drones. The radar is a “Yenisei” and is the peak of their ground-based sensor technology. Russia has fewer than a dozen and it needs specialized electronics that Russia can’t get anymore so they can’t make a new one. The Yenisei is intended to track hypersonic weapons and stealth aircraft and it died from a small, disposable drone. It also leaves a hole in their detection net.
If you were a Russian soldier, what would you do? ATESH, the partisans, say Russian soldiers are burning their vehicles to sabotage deployments.
Ok, that is what you would do if you were smart. Apparently, if you were stupid, you would shoot each other so you can get fake combat wounds and compensation and medals for bravery. Apparently 35 soldiers in an elite brigade did this. They got themselves over 2 million euros. Maybe they weren’t stupid. It was called, “Friendly Fire Friday.”
Ukraine destroyed a Russian base for drones in occupied Sevastopol. Up to three Mohajer-6 drones and two Forpost drones were hit.
