More Love

Noah and Louis having a hug. Lovely to see. Noah had managed to pick up an ear infection. Likely too much water where it's not wanted. Antibiotics prescribed, and he's on the mend.

This morning, I went to my Pilates class. A wee time in the garden and then made 3 jars of tomato sauce from what are already surplus tomatoes. Then, for the first time that I can remember, I sat on the bench on my steps and finished a book I've been reading: St Peter's Fair, a medieval whodunit by Ellis Peters. Set in 1139, Brother Cadfael is our detective. Its a good read. Before becoming a monk, Cadfael was a Knight in the Crusades. He is now in charge of the herb garden at the Abbey. He sets special store by his "oriental" poppies, which provide very effective pain relief, amongst other things......
