Urca and Posto 1

Another beachy day. We sat near Posto 1 again for a while in the morning (see extra) after our walk along there, which gives us some steps.

Then a taxi to Urca and instead of going to the Garota de Urca as usual, we went to the more famous Bar de Urca and had lunch in their upstairs restaurant with views over bay. Shared some deep fried prawns with garlic mayonnaise sauce and a tomato, onion and palm hearts salad to start. We ended the afternoon watching the sunset for an hour on the beach at Urca, just a walk along from the restaurant. Urca shots are my main blip.

Taxi back to Copacabana and some Yahtzee at Real Chopp, where there was a very good busker for entertainment. When we got home, we’d been out over 12 hours. Another good holiday day.
