Steampunk 2025

Brian had work this morning, and I just pottered about at home.

Once Brian was home we had some lunch and he did a few jobs whilst I drank coffee and read. Once that was done we walked up to the castle area to take photos of some of the wonderful outfits and items on show at this year's Steampunk festival. As ever there were some wonderfully creative outfits on show.

Once home Brian went for a nap and I started the prep for tea for Grace and I - crispy tofu stir-fry. As often happens when I cook, I realised I didn't have everything I needed. The pepper I'd bought had gone off and was very wizened. Also, I realised I was out of cornflour. 

To the Co-op, where I was surprised to find that they were trying to sell peppers that looked worse than the one I'd binned. They had no cornflour either. Brian had to drive me to Tesco, where I was fortunately able to get what I needed.

Home again, and I got the prep done just in time for Grace to arrive. We ate the stir-fry from my new bowls, which Grace approved of! Food was pretty good too..
