Red (Day 3761)

A slightly later start for me today, and once the routine tasks were out of the way I collected Mum and we got out on the horses. It is a long time since Mum was out, and we agreed on a nice gentle plod with me on Red and Mum riding George. Every time I ride Red I think that I should get out with him more often. He is a cracking horse.
Back home I had a quick stop then took Sigyn for another wander at Wasdale in glorious sunshine. I finished off my day with another trip to the horses to do the field chores, though today in the sunshine they hardly felt like chores.
Fingers crossed my beautiful wife and I will get out for a ride tomorrow when she returns from her adventures south.
