Egg Chasery…

….after a morning weeding, I donned slightly more civilised clothing and headed to Melrose with Nancy to watch the egg chasers of the locale. It was a surprising game, Heriots (of Edinburgh) looked likely to dominate and run-away with the game after 10mins scoring an easy try in the first 5mins, and yet 15mins later Melrose turned the game on its head with a couple of quick breakaway scores and then never looked back. It was an entertaining game and finished 43-17 to Melrose.

We hung about for a couple of beers and then headed home to Bosells, stopping only to purchase chips at the Bossels Fry.
