One slice is never enough

Leg was sore through the night.... not really painful just sore and irritated under the bandage.   I got up about 8am and pottered around for an hour or so and then went back to bed until around 1pm.


I had two parcels to collect in the village so I got a bus down.  Got the parcels as well as some food shopping and walked home.  


I'm still not back " on plan " so when I found a Salted Caramel Vienetta in the freezer I couldn't resist.   Its described as .....  " delicious layers of salted caramel flavour and vanilla ice cream between crisp caramel flavour layers topped with caramel flavour pieces" .  Viennetta was first invented and launched by Wall's in 1982 as a one-off Christmas specialty. The concept of the layered ice cream cake was developed the previous year by the product development manager at Wall's Ice Cream.  A long running UK advertising campaign for the product used the slogan "one slice is never enough".   Well one slice certainly wasn't enough for me today.  I had two slices... and another two slices ..... and suddenly I had eaten the whole thing. It was delicious.
