"tis the season

Flu season, that is.  I don't have the flu, but I do have a very heavy cold which has laid me low.

Tomorrow we were supposed to be holding a birthday celebration for our 90 year old friend at OGH, but when we got a list of apologies as long as your arm, we knew we had to cancel.  When I rang Mary to tell her she said " Oh my dear, I am so relieved!!  Here I am laying in bed feeling absolutely wretched with a bad cold".

Luckily the birthday cake people agreed to put the cake on hold for a couple of weeks!

The boys thank everyone for their birthday wishes.  They tell me they had a very good day.
