Hyena surprise

What a great day for game viewing.

We started up in Crooks Corner, a little patch of no-man’s land where South Africa, Mozambique, and Zimbabwe meet. A place where nefarious characters would head to and watch from tall trees as law enforcement officers from each county would argue over who would make the arrest given that none had any legal standing in the little patch of land and river.

We had originally entered the park at Punda Maria so drove out to the Pafuri gate taking the River Loop along the way.

This fine fellow surprised us as we turned a corner on our way back to the camp as the sun was setting.
