Dwy ffordd wedi dargyfeirio ~ Two roads diverged
“Anything that excites me for any reason, I will photograph; not searching for unusual subject matter, but making the commonplace unusual.”
― Edward Weston

Aethon ni allan heddiw dathlu pen-blwydd Richard. Diwrnod anghywir, wrth gwrs, ond roedd y diwrnod cyntaf gallwn ni gwrdd.
Dwy ffordd wedi dargyfeirio... Aethon ni ar y bws i'r Rhath, ac o'r safle bws aeth Nor'dzin a fi i lawr ochr-strydoedd dawel. Yn y cyfamser aeth Daniel i lawr y brysur Albany Road. Cyrhaeddon ni ar dŷ Richard heb unrhyw ddigwyddiad, tra cafodd Daniel brofiad gwahanol. Cafodd ei gysylltu ag ef gan fenyw mewn rhywfaint o ofid, wedi'i ddrysu, gyda chleisiau. Dalodd Daniel gyda hi tra rywun yn galw ambiwlans. Roedd ei thŷ hi'n llanast a frwnt. Arhosodd Daniel nes y parafeddygon gymryd drosodd. Ni fyddwn byth yn gwybod y stori lawn, ond roedden ni'n falch roedd Daniel yno cynnig help.
Aethon ni i Salkaara ar Wellfield Road am ginio mae'n fwyty Indiaid da iawn. Cawson ni sawl cwrs: byrbrydau , cwrs cychwynnol, prif gwrs. Dim pwdin yn anffodus oherwydd roeddwn ni'n gyforiog yn gyfan gwbl. Roedd y bwyd i gyd yn flasus iawn. Roedden ni'n hoffi'n arbennig y Biryani gyda'r naan fel 'het'.
Aethon ni yn ôl i dŷ Richard i chwarae gemau gyda'r plant. Roedd Zoê yn awdurdodus iawn a gwnaeth hi gadw ni dan reol.
Ar ddiwedd y noswaith aethon ni adre mewn Tacsi. Roedd un o'r strydoedd wedi'i chae gan yr heddlu. Rhywun arall mewn trafferth, ond ni fyddwn byth yn gwybod y stori.
Mae'n gwneud i chi feddwl am y ffyrdd gwahanol rydyn ni'n mynd yn ein bywydau a'r pethau gwahanol sy'n digwydd fel canlyniad.

We went out today to celebrate Richard's birthday. Wrong day, of course, but it was the first day we could meet.
Two roads diverged... We took the bus to Roath, and from the bus stop Nor'dzin and I went down quiet side streets. Meanwhile Daniel went down the busy Albany Road. We arrived at Richard's house without incident, while Daniel had a different experience. He was approached by a woman in some distress, confused, with bruises. Daniel stayed with her while someone called an ambulance. Her house was a mess and dirty. Daniel stayed until the paramedics took over. We will never know the full story, but we were glad Daniel was there to offer help.
We went to Salkaara on Wellfield Road for dinner, it's a very good Indian restaurant. We had several courses: appetiser, starter, main course. No pudding unfortunately because we were entirely replete. All the food was delicious. We especially liked the Biryani with the naan as a 'hat'.
We went back to Richard's house to play games with the children. Zoê was very authoritative and she kept us under control.
At the end of the evening we went home in a Taxi. One of the streets was cordoned off by the police. Someone else in trouble, but we'll never know the story.
It makes you think about the different ways we go in our lives and the different things that happen as a result.
