Wild Teasels

I had morning walk along the revetment ahead of the final dress rehearsal in the afternoon. I felt these teasels heralded the ending of Summer. I’m greedy and am hoping for an Indian Summer but we do desperately need some rain.
It was another warm and sunny day. I would have liked to have watched the scooterists set off en masse for the traditional ride-out at 1 pm but instead, I was on stage.
