Home invasion

Twice in as many days I have had to rescue/evict this little fella from the dining room.( I think it's actually after my whisky, but is far too young to drink it. ) If it's not actually the same one as yesterday, it must be one of its siblings. After it flew around in panic mode for a while, it then settled and sat quite happily on one of the house plants until I could get it into the jug. After releasing it, it flew off quite happily into the tree I think it has been based in. It looks to me as if it could be a young goldcrest - while I have never seen one before, the Merlin app has said on several occasions that we have them around.
